Here we go. Everybody has heard about Adana, AAA,etc. but not many people have heard about the Animal in Need rescue in La Linea. Pedro,a Dutch guy, decided to open up an animal rescue centre next to the death station in La Linea. Animals were being put down here if an animal was found and the owner did not show up. The way these animals were being put down was not as humane as first believed. There was a lot of suffering. Pedro decided to rescue as many animals as possible. After lots of problems because of the locals he now has an established rescue center where around 600 dogs are being cared for before they can go to a permanent home abroad. But more dogs come in than thay can send away. Apart fromthe dogs they will take in any animal that needs a home. They have rabbits, cats, horses etc. Have a look at their website and please dont spend 300€ or a lot more on a so called pedigree if you can give a loving home to any of these. We have 2 rescue dogs, one we would not have taken if we had little children, he was only 4 months old at the time but so badly beaten he is unpredictable. So do your homework but please do not support buying so called pedigree dogs while you can get them for a fraction of the price, sterilized, chipped etc. Website: animalinneed Thank you.
