Here we go again :-) I will be receiving a 1978 Black Beauty 6,5 Supersensitive shortly to add to the family, so I am really happy. What I saw on one of the pictures is that the drum has the B stamp behind the muffler. I know this must have been discussed before, and YES I have checked Rob Cooks book. He states the stamp B means Brass, but also sometimes Bronze on the Black Beauties. Is there a definitive way to tell? weight? shell construction? Songs that the drum will refuse to play? (just kiddin) ;-) As I said I dont have the drum here yet, but it would be great to get some hints here...
