Here we go again. I spoke with a woman yesterday. She has 100% medical at Truman. However when she telephoned to make an appointment, she was told they are only allowed to take a certain number of free patients, so she has to call back every day until they can get her on the list. It just so happens that she has a cell phone, and lives on a bus line so she will probably be ok. But what about all the people who may need to get care and dont have a cell phone. I guess they just go to an emergency room. Corporations are not going to do the right thing. Insurance is still big business.
