Here we go again...another frosty weekend, another Christmas season upon us, the running around, the pressure, the sales, the snow, the weather forecasts of DOOM ! Really? I suggest a break from all the crazy, take a minute to think about whats really important. Our families, close and far, those who have gone on before us, but remain in our hearts...the magic in a kids eyes when Christmas lights reflect in them..the quiet that a blanket of snow brings. I have fond memories of my Christmas with Mom and Dad on Mark St in Sherman Park when we were kids.(1950s) Bristol Public Works would actually close down our street with sawhorses and not plow right away so all the kids in the neighborhood would have a safe place to test out their Flexible Flyers in the new fallen snow! Good times, I tell ya...back to our Beginnings. And that brings us around to this...A reminder that every day is a new opportunity.
