Here we go, day 30, counting down. Out for a walk on this nice day near LA. Sure finding it difficult to get used to the city life. Need to get a bit closer to where the action is. Then off to Vegas again to negotiate the house Im thinking of buying after the classic car auction. A great way for free transportation, buy a classic car cheap, auction it off so all your expenses for travel, lodging and relocating are all paid in full with a bit left over for another cheap but nice classic car just for kicks, love older classic cars, what can I say? Dign it! So this is the big city since the last time over 20 years ago. Im already homesick but not for the place I owned and lived but rather the area, friends, people Im used to talking to every day. Feeln a bit alone on Veterans Day so I figure why not go find a parade somewhere? Salute some fellow Vets, look for a more permanent place to buy rather than rent or whatever. Same price only one builds equity in one while the other for someone else. Too funny in a way I guess. So a place in LA and Vegas, hmmm, I guess I could rent out a few rooms but not much on being a landlord. Especially when one is single and in need of a good personal assistant, staff and a bigger place by this time next year. What the heck right? Its all good regardless. So off for a bit of exercise in this crazy tinsel town. Had lunch the other day in a Mexican style breakfast and lunch restaurant running since 1928, (that is a long haul) had the most positive atmosphere.
