Here we go with the last week of this month in this new year. A year I feel will be a year filled with many victories and much strength to endure our trials. A year in which God will push the envelope in our lives to stretch us and mold us into being His children He has called us to be. John 1:10-14 He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son. 1 John 3:1-3 See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him. Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is. And all who have this eager expectation will keep themselves pure, just as he is pure. As children of God walk worthy of the calling that God has placed upon your life. As children of God dont take it for granted. Do something with your calling. Push the envelope and let God use you in these last days. Honor God in all things.
