Heres Bezos plan for using the Washington Post: Lets hope that the news is objective. President Obama appears to be intent in using giant retailers to employ Americans given that, if the MFA is approved, many will lose their job. As we recall, President Obama appeared in Chattanooga, TN, endorsing Amazons new warehouse last year as a great place to employ workers, while protestors objecting to Amazon work conditions and other issues, including the Marketplace Fairness Act, were kept at arms length over two miles away! Should the Presidents wish for a $15 per hour minimum wage become a reality, its likely that retailers would raise prices. Will Amazon, Walmart, and other workers employed by these retailers be able to persist without receiving food stamps and other aid? Will the $15 per hour functionally become a replacement for $8 per hours and achieve little beyond whats already happening? How will the Washington Post factor into how this all gets played out? And what will happen to the American free enterprise system?
