Heres Day 5 -- I am a day late and a dollar short on yesterdays, but here goes: 1. So thankful to have been brought up in a large family. There are nine children in our family -- all by the same parents. I am the eighth child and the sixth girl. We all bring something different to the table. We have the creative ones, the more business-minded ones, the bossy ones -- all different and good in our own ways. Growing up in a large family taught me to share -- I am a GREAT sharer; it taught me to love; it taught me patience and it taught me how to get along with others. Cheers to Elaine, Elton, Wynell, Wanda, Gloria Furgason, Don Killam, Sandy and Bo Ken Killam). 2.I am grateful for my new job and appreciate the faith of my supervisors in believing that I can do it. 3. As much as I enjoy other parts of the country and traveling to different places, I am glad I grew up on the Gulf Coast. Its a beautiful place and the people are kind. Hundreds of thousands of people visit this area each year for a few days to get a taste of what we enjoy everyday. Thats all for today.
