Heres The Story! This is a super cool picture of Davy Jones from when he appeared on the Brady Bunch in 1971. The episode was from season three and titled, Getting Davy Jones. It originally aired on December 10, 1971. In this episode, Davy is in the studio listening to a play back of his freshly recorded single, Girl. Marcia walks in and encounters Davys manager. She asks to speak with Davy personally about performing at her school on Friday night. Davy can hear Marcia and his manager over the studio microphone. Marcia pleads with Davys manager and tells him that none of her friends will ever speak to her again if Davy Jones doesnt sing at her school as she promised them. She also tells his manager that she is the president of his Filmore Junior High Fan Club. The manager still sends poor Marcia away. Davy, having heard the whole thing, feels badly and decides to pay Marcia a personal visit at her home. He shows up with a copy of his latest record album. But thats not all! He not only agrees to perform at her school, but he asks her to be his date! What a groovy guy!
