Heres a Long-jawed Orbweaver Spider (Tetragnatha spp) spinning a web over the water. They weave the web at an angle to catch things emerging or landing on the water. They normally stick their legs straight out and hold them together looking like a twig when hiding. They have some very large jaws though you cant see them here. You can hear Handsome Meadow Katydids still calling in the back ground also. Sorry about the photo quality.
