Heres a REAL LIFE Headline on Yahoo News this morning: Russia Outraged as East Ukraine Shootout Shatters Easter Truce! Seriously? Is the reader supposed to feel SORRY for the Russians here, as if theyre the innocent VICTIMS of some sort of unforeseen evil plot by the Ukrainian people? Maybe Yahoo News sees things differently than some of US do. Maybe, to Yahoo News reporters, the Russians were just chillin out in a neighboring Country that theyd just invaded, preparing to set up some sort of Easter egg hunt for the Ukrainian children that theyd just orphaned during the initial invasion, and, out of the blue, for no good reason, a freedom-loving Ukrainian citizen just up and starts whizzing bullets at them! What a bunch of morons! These are some of the reasons why its sometimes so freakin hard to do the Totally Made-Up News. Even with the aid of several red beers, I cant top the REAL NEWS when it comes to absurdity.
