Heres a bassist whom Ive rarely seen mentioned here but who I would love to hear opinions, Duff McKegan of GnR. I always loved his bass lines, now granted he plays with a pick, lets get that fact out of the way so people wont harp on that too long, and hes not what I call a lead bassist but hes damned good in the pocket and always seems to play the right fill at the right time, but his bass lines cut through the mix and stand on their own and hes a huge part of the sound of one of the biggest rock bands in history. Opinions?
