Heres a chance for you to laugh at my expense. Laughter is good medicine and if I can help glad to do it: today i dodged the cowpies and walked with my walker in the field to look at our apple trees and see if i could reach any without doing something wrong- not sure why the steers hadnt stood on their hind legs like the others have done in past years. there were a few limbs i could reach. I was picking a few and all of a sudden from behind me i had a big slurp with a big rough tongue up my hair. My animals I tell you- the cat wakes me up cleaning my hair in the middle of the night, now the cow is grooming me too... Honest you guys I wash my hair generally every day though i perspire more than i like at times maybe its the salt. I think that small steer might have been thanking me for always scratching his head before surgery and given them some garden scraps. Course I really didnt want to hear this but when I told my husband about the slurp from the steer he said well did you lick him back and I said are you kidding. He said he would of.... The steer did seem to find the apples easy when i dropped the limb down where i could get the apples. I guess if i try it again I am going to have to wait till their sleeping in the other field.
