Heres a cool story, from WAA Event Coordinator Kelly Hinkle and his girlfriend Julie Emery who have taken on a personal challenge to do all the headstones in Section 24 at Arlington: youtu.be/AyUG9anvEd8 Section 24 is where the Mast of the USS Maine is located, and both Julie and Kelly are taking on this challenge in honor of their grandfathers who served our Country during the second World War. They are seeking help to reach their goal of 184 wreaths for headstones in Section 24, and have set up a Booster page where you can order merchandise that also places a wreath with each order: booster/wreaths-across-america-section24 The idea to do this campaign came from Kelly and Julie, above and beyond his duties coordinating events for the organization. We think it says a lot about our younger generations and their willingness to show their appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy. There are over 70 sections of Arlington National Cemetery where we hope to be placing wreaths this December.
