Heres a feel #good story for ya. You dont see this every day. Kudos to the crew hired by Duke Energy, one of our frequent corporate and event sponsors, for looking out for this active woodpecker nest. Wood poles were replaced with metal poles but the workers saved the part of this wood pole that contained the nest and secured it to the metal pole at the same height as it was previously. Awesome sauce! This photo was taken this morning on Fort King Road in #Zephyrhills kind of near that big bend just west of where it intersects with Daughtery Rd (just past Zephyr Auto Repair). Way to go line linemen!
