Heres a funny thing: I dont watch TV anymore. Disconnected cable about 4 years ago and feel weird now when Im at someones house and a show is interrupted by commercials. I have ABSOLUTELY NO PATIENCE FOR THEM!!! But I decided this summer to dispense with the laptop in the bed syndrome I had begun to suffer from, and went out and bought a flat-screen. Its beautifully tucked into a stunningly gorgeous old hand-carved Victrola cabinet (YES, A VICTROLA!)--a family heirloom--from my childhood... But the funny thing is how far away everything looks now. Its not too small--32 is respectable to me--but Im so used to the tiny screen right in front of me.... Ive only used it a couple of times, so I guess Ill get used to it, right?More proof I need a spouse to sit next to!! :)
