Heres a great Mac n cheese recipe. Sausage pepper and onion Mac n cheese 5 links mild Italian sausage 1-2 green peppers 1 small to med onions 1 pounds pasta 1 cups grated Parmesan 2 cups cream 1/2 pound shredded mozzarella 4 tablespoons butter Start by boiling pasta, then start browning italian sausage. In another pan carmelize peppers and onions. When sausage is brown on all sides slice about 1/2 inch chunks and add to pepper and onion mixture. Simmer until veggies are soft and sausage is cooked through. In another pan deep frypan works well melt 3-4 tablespoons butter. Add cream keep heat medium. Add cheese then stir until cheese is melted. Do not over cook it will scald or curdle just get to steaming not boil. Now put pasta in baking dish add sausage peppers and onions. Mix then add cheese sauce. Stir then put mozzarella on top and bake at 350 until top is melted. Can be made ahead just go to baking part refridgerate then when ready to serve bake at 350 covered 45 min uncovered 15
