Heres a great opportunity to give back to the community, and help one of our favorite Outreach Ministries! Roberts Farm in Currituck County has offered fields for our District to glean for the Food Bank of the Albemarle. Gleaning dates are Saturday, July 19 and Saturday, July 26. We will glean starting at (0745-0800) The Farm is located at, corner of US 158 and N. Indiantown Road (SR 1147), 10 miles east of Elizabeth City, NC. (GPS 489 N. Indiantown Road, Shawboro, NC 27973, Currituck County). We will meet at the Roberts Ridge Farm Produce Stand between 0745 and 0800 each Saturday. It would be nice if we had a feel for participation, in advance, so we know how many to expect. No skill required!!! It is recommend that you wear rubber boots, long sleeve shirts, and bring a 5 gal bucket.
