Heres a highly commended entry from this years 100-Word Story contest: He stretches. Muscles groan. The years have passed too quickly. A walk is what he needs. He always feels better after a walk. But he cant go anywhere without Her. Its time to lay a guilt trip on her and get her out of that chair. At last the door opens, the fresh air wafts over him. He takes deep breaths and already feels invigorated. He wanted to go to the park but she wants to go to the bakery for bread for breakfast. The smell of it makes his mouth water. He licks her hand.
