Heres a just for fun question your views will be divided and I will be in trouble but here goes.... Two players left in pot, all 5 community cards are down (dont worry what suits): 5 J 2 K 7 Pot is fairly large first to act CHECKS followed by a CHECK. First player asks without showing What you got? Second player replies without showing JK First player says You got me and chucks his cards in the muck. Second player shows bugger all but of course there is a JK on the board which is what he called. What should happen? My view is that it was my last chance to win the pot and I did..... PLEASE NOTE: Whilst I feel I won the hand it was not nice in a friendly game - very poor etiquette - so I handed the pot over to my opponent and laughed.... and was scolded for my action by the TD declaring a false hand. I said it wasnt a false hand the JK were on the board. I was only playing around..pletely understand my telling off and we all laughed... but Id be interested on what the actual rules of the game would say to such a devious and sinful move. I will never do it again by the way - honest! - it was just a test. I usually do this just in jest... but it has never resulted in winning a hand before....dont kill me Dawn.
