Heres a leech which i extracted from the nose of a boy who had history of frequent nasal bleeding. Oftentimes, its hard to remove this kind of slimy foreign bodies with a forceps. Given the right technique and know- how in a decisive clinical situation, I luckily was able to pull out the leech without resorting to a complicated operative set-up. Hence, less expense and burden on the part of the patient.
