Heres a leftover turkey idea. I made this up yesterday. It was delicious! Turkey Shepherds Pie 2 cups diced turkey 2 c. turkey gravy 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce 1 c. diced carrot 1 c. diced celery 1 c. diced onion (you dont have to use this much if your family doesnt like it like we do) 1 12 oz. pkg. frozen peas, defrosted 1 4 serving bag of instant potatoes, prepared or 2 c. leftover mashed potatoes 1 c. shredded monteray jack cheese Cook carrots and celery together in microwave until almost done. Stir together turkey, gravy, tomato sauce, carrots, celery, onion, and peas in a deep casserole. Top with potatoes. Bake 40 minutes, or until filling is bubbling. Add cheese and broil for 5 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is slightly browned and bubbly. Enjoy!
