Heres a link for info on wood burning. cordofwood.org/ When I was in Northern PA I had an outside woodstove and normally used 12+ cords a year. The outside stove heated water for both house heat and hot water heater. This was 30 years ago and I paid $30 per cord of cherry/oak cut, split, delivered, and stacked. In KY I cut my own as most places were charging too much and selling a rick as if it were a cord undelivered. I did buy wood up in Winchester when you could get wood cores from the veneer place.
