Heres a little story….…..We get back last night after being gone for 8 days, right?!?! I look in my washing machine, because the lid is down ( I always leave it open, so it doesnt get smelly, cuz its a top loader) and I see that I LEFT a load of clothes in there!!! AAHHH…I totally forgot I was gonna text my sister to put them in the dryer :( Now they are stinky, mildewy and have been sitting in there for over a week!! GROSS!!! SO I look up what gets out the SMELL and I have to say after 6 wash cycles using white vinegar and baking soda the smell is GONE!! It sucked having to wash them that many times, but it saved our clothes! I alternated each wash using 1 cup of vinegar and then 1 cup baking soda using HOT water. The last wash I used regular detergent. I just took them out of the dryer and they smell GOOD. Thank God, that would have been costly to replace the clothes and towels I had in there!
