Heres a little taste of missionary life from Pastor Jeff Horn in Papua New Guinea: I locked the keys in the car tonight. Stood there realizing that there is no AAA to call here. That little moment of panic sums up missionary life. Daily encountering new situations that you once knew how to handle, but now you find that the old answers dont work and you have to figure things out from scratch all over again. Sometimes it is thrilling, or annoying, but in a dark Hagen parking lot, this was frightening. So, how do you get your keys out of a locked car in Papua New Guinea? I still dont know. … The only thing I could think of was to check the back door. Oh the sweet, sublime sound of a door latch opening up! Had to thank Chris [son] for forgetting to lock it. Whew!
