Heres a little update... Last week, Dr. Farmer came by to check on his patients. Caleb was in his stander at the time and Dr. Farmer was happy about that. Corrine, his PT, was also around so she was able to provide him with a little update of how Caleb is doing. Dr. Farmer said it was very positive that he is so motivated in therapy as well as wanting to ride his bike all the time. Unfortunately, he is not so motivated and well behaved when I try to do his stretches and exercises but I guess that will come with time, practice, and lots of patience! On Thursday, it seemed that Caleb was starting a cold as he had a dry cough. It was worst on Friday during the day and at bedtime but, knock on wood, seems to have calmed down now...getting lots of sleep and taking it easy this weekend is probably helping! Were still taking lots of walks this weekend with Caleb on his bike, in his chair, and in the stander. We went to get some fresh air yesterday morning and again this morning. The weather is a little cool but still very nice here in Montreal. This is our last weekend having to remain here at the hospital as Caleb gets weekend passes for the last two. I cant wait! Though the time is passing fairly well, it is still very boring and restricted. I have been here for ten days now...ten more to go! The last part of my stay should fly by as some very special people in our life will be coming to visit us this week...very much looking forward to it! Not much more to report right now.
