Heres a look at the tanker spill on I-17 at Jomax Road in north Phoenix. The tanker rollover involving a fatality and hazardous materials has closed I-17 in north Phoenix, with southbound lanes closed at Loop 303 and northbound lanes closed at Jomax Road. An extended closure into this afternoon (8/1/14) is expected, though there is no estimated time to reopen either direction of I-17. ADOT advises drivers to expect significant delays, to consider delaying travel and to use alternate routes.
