Heres a lovely new addition to the Random Acts of Kindness movement, a comment made on Boomers & Beyond site: I read one the other day of a guy finding an envelope on the sidewalk in our little town here. He posted on our email Town Crier that he’d found it and was looking for the rightful owner. Apparently it had some cash in it from the feel of it, though he’d not opened it yet. Others replied that they’d discovered similar envelopes and that they were $5 in cash with a note saying, “you are a special person, I hope you have a wonderful day”. the amount of cash (or kindness) isn’t the important thing, it’s the act itself that instills hope in our busy world. And hopefully reminds us all to “pay it forward” for the sheer joy of it. The payback is immediate.
