Heres a man I have incredible respect for sharing his story at Brisbanes latest TEDx event. The story is so worth hearing and full of laughs, but tune in for the final minutes where he asks some questions, and throws out some ideas worth hearing. My favourite idea is this - dont whinge about things you arent working to do something about. Facebook activism is great, its fantastic, but if youre just sharing posts, putting down politicians and getting on a soapbox at parties about the things that bother you put the box away and reroute that time to finding ways that you can put your time, money or resource to helping ease or finding a solution to that problem.
