Heres a neat story, the kind we like around here. These beautiful cherry bowls come from a tree at a family farm in Croydon, another little village close to Tamworth and the studio. We were interested in it, so they offered us the log in exchange for some bowls cut from the tree. Well here are the first bowls to be cut from the tree, and they turned out really well. It just adds another dimension to the idea of our work being a family heirloom, coming straight from a tree on your property, to becoming a work of art that can be passed through generations. We got quite a few requests when the ice storm hit this winter and a lot of trees came down, and while we unfortunately cant do all the custom requests we would like, it is nice to be able to provide a family with a part of a tree that has been a fixture in their homes and lives for so long.
