Heres a new type of road block, brought to you by a government research project about drunk driving. Heres how it works - youre driving down the highway, an off-duty police office (who hasnt had a chance to take off his uniform) directs you off the road and in to a parking lot; they then ask you for permission to draw blood or swab your cheek; while theyre talking with you, they have a sensor which is running a breathalyzer test on you; then they tell you its voluntary, but in order to leave, you have to pick one of the three tests.
