Heres a new update that Daryn posted a few hours ago. Tomorrow, shell have surgery to place a port and an epidural catheter for a long term block. The idea is for the regional anesthesia to reduce the pain in her legs, at least temporarily, without necessarily numbing them entirely. If they can adjust the dosage just right, she will still have some feeling and be able to se her legs to transfer. Well see. Her doctor thinks the medicine can flow for about 3-4 weeks, and although the pain will likely return thereafter, she will appreciate the short term respite from pain.
