Heres a nice review of the RVSC Sporting Clays facility in Grants Pass by Chuck Tannlund. Next time you are in the area, you might want to check into shooting there! Saturday I went down to RVSC to practice that course as I get there infrequently. I was pleasantly surprised to see new improvements on their sporting clay course. There is a new sporting clays club house under construction down by the black powder pavillon, a new elevated platform under construction at station #12, all new Target Tag Long Range wireless controllers with some stations ready for Super Sporting or FITASC. All 15 stations were as new with roofs to cover the shooter and secured with stakes and straps so that they were secure but could be moved. Actually I was very surprised to see all these ongoing improvements and asked Gene Evans who I shot with about the upgrades. Gene is a member of RVSC and was also a friend, as I, of the late Ricardo Sforza. It turns out that Ricardo left some money to the club upon his passing. As for the course and targets, they were great, a couple big boy stations, a couple feel good stations, and normal, challenging and interesting targets. All in all a very fun day. I believe that our Oregon shooters are really going to enjoy this club even more than they did in the past. Best regards, Chuck Tannlund
