Heres a perspective from a Molokai farmer and activist on the GMO Moratorium. Read the initiative. If you feel you cannot understand its text or that it is too wordy, read it with a friend or have a friend read it to you. Educate yourself as to the truth of this initiative and dont depend on the slick TV ads or numerous postal fliers to give you the information you really need to know about this. Some of you ( and you know who you are) can be a little lazy and vote the popular vote because everyone else is doing it or because you dont want someone else telling you how to vote. Im telling you to do a little research and fact finding for yourself. Dig a little deeper. Is the cost of our health, the health of our āina, water and air AND the cost of our childrens health and welfare so little that its not worth your time or effort to find out the facts before you vote?
