Heres a photo of the Hollinger Mine machine shop. My grandfather - TopicsExpress

Heres a photo of the Hollinger Mine machine shop. My grandfather Charlie Angus is standing near the back beside the large grinding wheel. He died on that spot in April 1962. He learned the machinist trade in Glasgow and came to Canada to work the mine. In those days Catholics worked underground and orangemen had surface jobs. My Granny says Charlie hated the sectarianism back in Scotland and didnt like to see it in Canada so he joined the union and helped organize the workers.
