Heres a project that Im very proud of. This is a 1948 Gibson that came in for a complete restoration. Heres what I did: used boxwood string pins, installed golden age vintage tuners, re-radiused 12 fretboard, complete bound neck re-fret, new Brazilian rosewood bridge, vintage bone nut and intonated bone saddle, set correct intonation points and routered saddle slot, installed Bridge Doctor for enhanced projection, made Sitka spruce AAA top with wood rossette, glued period correct top bracing pattern, repaired bracing on back and sides, restorative cleaning throughout, and made a white pearl heel cap. This guitar now has perfect action and great tone that will only improve as the new top blooms. It was a complete pleasure to bring this beauty back to life.
