Heres a question I get asked a lot: “Will eating before bed REALLY make me fat?” It depends on two things really. 1: Is the food you’re eating before bed taking your body out of a calorie deficit? 2: Are you timing your meals the RIGHT way before bed? Here’s the dealio: as long as you’re burning off more calories than you’re taking in (i.e. calorie deficit) and you’re timing the right kinds of fat-burning foods… You can still get stellar results by eating right before bed if you want. But typically your best choices for fat loss are going to be lean protein, fibrous veggies, and friendly fats. So dont be afraid to eat at night if you need to!
