Heres a question for all my music minded mates: What is it with the current trend of listening to music on random??? I just dont get it!!! To me, I figure out what kind of mood Im in, then put on an album to fit my headspace. I cannot fathom why anyone would want to listen to random soundbites - thats like listening to the radio (heresy!!!), where someone else dictates what you hear next.... nooit!!! To me, an album is like a movie - to be experienced from start to finish... and if you get bored before the end, put on the next album. How can you judge a bands worth without looking at the big picture? I would almost be tempted to say that people who put music on random are simply bored of the music they listen to, and couldnt be assed to make the effort. Am I wrong?
