Heres a question for you all, how big do you think Scotland is compared to England? No cheating and googling this; do you think the land mass is roughly 1/5, 1/4, 1/2 or 2/3s The answer is 2/3s. Now ask yourself why a country with outstanding natural beauty, plentiful natural resources with a well educated and resourceful population known for their ingenuity only has a population 5% the size of their closest neighbour. (5.3 million compared to 55 million) Is it A/ during a period of time the population was systemically relocated and acts of ethnic cleansing comitted to clear the land or B/ No one really likes big beautiful mountains and woodland or C/ it rains a lot.
