Heres a quick debrief of how #TeamDAVIS and I spent our weekend in Tamaki. We were joined by volunteers as far afield as Wellington as well as our Deputy Leader David Parker - always good to see you David and thanks for your mahi.) Special thanks to both DC and Carmel Sepuloni for the use of your office space in Tamaki. From stuffing envelopes (thankfully many hands make light work!) door knocking and pamphlet deliveries to the masses, we definitely had our work cut out for us. Our crew attended the Fundraiser Dinner for our Tamaki Makaurau Labour Candidate Peeni Henare where we enjoyed a Kaimoana Banquet for Dinner. Thanks guys! We attended the Avondale Fleamarket this morning; it was good to catch up with Corrie Haddock; Labour Candidate for Helensville - as well as seeing the other political parties who were there in attendance. With less than two weeks before Election Day 2014 - everyone is keen to get out there and secure as many votes as possible. All in all, it was a great weekend away on the campaign trail.
