Heres a recipe for how to load your own songs onto the FEH onboard computer center. 1. Select a commercial off the shelf music CD of your choice. USB sticks, and songs burned onto your own disc will not work unless they have a specific format. After some experimentation, I honestly do not know the exact nature of this format. The best bet is to just use a store bought music CD. 2. Load the music CD into the CD player, and wait for it to load. 3. Once the CD is loaded into the player, you will notice a red record button in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Click the record button. 4. The record button automatically selects all of the tracks, you have to manually deselect all, if you do not want to record everything. 5. To record the entire CD, just leave the select all default in place. 6. Press the start recording button, and you should see the percentage recorded for the track. 7. Be prepared to wait a very long time to record the entire CD! Each track records at a snails pace, and it may take over 30 minutes to do the entire CD. 8. In some cases, the onboard computer may fail to record the artist name, various tracks and/or the entire CD. Unfortunately, this is another (along with loading pics) example of poor design on behalf of the Ford engineering staff. 9. Good Luck!!
