Heres a request from a documentary filmmaker and friend of MCC: NEED HELP with MCC PHOTOS! Hello all my MCC friends across the world. I hope you can help me spread the word: As you may have heard, Im making a documentary about the tragic 1973 Up Stairs Lounge fire in New Orleans, which killed 1/3 of the MCC NOLA congregation. We released a trailer for the film in June: https://vimeo/94900386. On camera, we interviewed Reverend Troy Perry and Father Paul Breton (who was part of MCC Washington, DC at the time). I was able to speak to Reverend John Gill on the on phone. They were all part of a group that went to NOLA in the wake of the fire. I DESPERATELY NEED HELP LOCATING MCC ARCHIVAL PHOTOS. In many cases, finding the photos I need is harder than finding a needle in a haystack.
