Heres a scenario that so many western Christians fail to - TopicsExpress

Heres a scenario that so many western Christians fail to understand especially if theyve never served the Lord in a foreign country. Its like this; we as disciples all have a part to play in serving God that reaches far beyond a couple hours a week behind the closed doors of a cathedral. You see, not only America, but the entire world is quickly coming unraveled around us in a really bad way while many remain diligently building castles in the sand and playing on the beach almost like completely mindless of what is happening around them. You know, its like Im sure weve all heard the story of the frog put in lukewarm water and remains sitting happily until the heat is turned up so high he finally cooks to death. Or let me put it even another way. The woods are on fire and burning. In the midst of the woods are human beings, families children and homes and one little stream of water the Lord has provided. The disciples are working diligently to save all they can before its too late. Upstream however, are those who are building a dam so they can have a place to swim and at the same time starving the stream of water. The world is needing Christ now more than ever before in history. Look! The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Do we honestly think the Lord will look over lazy servants after He gave us many parables and warnings of His judgment toward them?
