Heres a serious question. Did Judy have some sort of eye lift cosmetic surgery early on in her MGM days? The two photos, taken about 1935 and 1941, show major differences in the shape of her eyes and especially eyelids that I dont think can be explained by makeup or weight loss. Note in the younger photo that Judys eyes are completely hooded, with no eyelid crease visible, and in the photo on the right the eyelid crease is very clearly defined. Today this effect is achieved with a procedure called a blepharoplasty, but its not a particularly advanced surgery so it might have well have been feasible back in the 1930s. Does anyone have a good clear closeup of Judys face from around 1939 or 1940 with no makeup?
