Heres a simple exercise movement to practice right at home. The hollow body position is a great core stability exercise for starters and elite athletes. Coach Carl Paoli gives a demonstration on how to get ourselves into a good position. Carl Paoli is the founder of Naka Athletics (which I have also attended his seminar) and a former gymnast. Watch this video from Coach Paoli and then find your hollow body position. This is a movement that will be seen a lot once our doors open. Once you find your ideal position try this simple exercise: Beginners-6 sets of 10-15 sec holds (rest 10 secs between sets). Advance-8 sets of 20 sec holds (rest 10 secs between sets.) For beginners start with 6 sets and 10 seconds, once you can hold all 6 sets for 10 seconds switch to 15 seconds. If you know what a hollow body is and have done the movement several times before; perform the advance exercise. Perform this exercise 3-5 times a week or even before or after your workouts.
