Heres a snippet I found on Naver - about my own restaurant... i thought it was a funny (but sad for me) statement on Korean food culture and dining out, sharing everything. A continuation of the how many pieces can a burger be divided into? series, if you will. Rough translation if you cant read Korean; (pics of five or six different dishes) everything was really delicious. We were six people and shared everything and had a little bit of each. I was full.... but for some reason I felt like i didnt get to eat much..... Next time Ill go with fewer people and come for brunch! Me, I dont know. I actually keep the food on the larger side, knowing that everything will get split up amongst two, three people... but for some reason there seems to be some unspoken rule that most koreans cant have more than one of the same thing on a table. I know where theyre coming from, but its still weird. lol. Seriously, I think weve cut up a burger into six pieces before. at that point they cant even stay together.....
