Marco Rubio: NSA Surveillance No Big Deal Crown Prince Of The Tea Party Movement Believes NSA Here To Stay [Kurt Nimmo Infowars October 25, 2013] Senator Marco Rubio, the crown prince of the Tea Party movement, says NSA snooping is a fact of life. In response to outrage by European leaders over revelations that the NSA is spying on them, Rubio told CNN it’s no big deal. “These leaders are responding to domestic pressures in their own countries, none of them are truly shocked about any of this,” Rubio said. “Everybody spies on everybody, I mean that’s just a fact.” “Whether they want to acknowledge that publicly or not — and every country has different capabilities — but at the end of the day, if you are a U.S. government official traveling abroad, you are aware that anything you have on your cellphone, on your iPad, can be monitored by foreign intelligence agencies including that of your own allies,” Rubio said. Rubio also believes blanket NSA surveillance has its place in the United States. “Programs like this have great utility,” he said earlier this year as controversy swirled in response to revelations by whistleblower Edward Snowden. “The threat that we face — largely radical, political Islamists — is probably a threat that is going to exist for the rest of our lifetimes. It’s just the reality. We have to deal with it,” he said in June, dismissing a growing chorus of criticism. In February, 2011, he voted with his fellow establishment Republicans to extend the PATRIOT Act’s UNCONSTITUTIONAL ROVING WIRETAPS
