Heres a story for you guys. I was filing my taxes through TurboTax. Got all my info in, they said I had to wait until today to complete my file. Logged on today to find out my taxes went through, which was strange, because I hadnt gotten to finish them. Also noticed my refund increased by $3000. Checked the routing/checking on my federal portion (which mind you increased by $3000), and it was going to a bank account I have never heard of before. TurboTax checked into the bank account, it was opened recently with MY name and MY social security number in Santa Barbara, CA. I now have to talk to the IRS first thing Monday morning due to some sort of crazy fraud going on with my info. Anyone ever have anything like this happen? Or do I just have super shitty luck?
