Heres a thought. Amongst all the hell that the Hamas said would reign down on Israel if we entered Gaza you never see one Hamas soldier on the news. Not one injured soldier, not a dead one either. Only Gazan civilians. Only grieving mothers and fathers. Where have they gone to? Are they supermen who never get injured? How is it that the media, so critical of Israel and so quick to judge never shows one Hamas soldier in Shifa hospital, only civilains? Does Hamas have its own hospital I wonder, one which the media cannot see? The truth is that the TV channels are under strict instructions by Hamas not to show fighters, anytime, anywhere although they dont tell you that beforehand just in case they would admit to culpability. This creates the desired result, the staged reality, the correct theatre of the macabre on the worlds TV screens where you only see dead and wounded civilians from the Israeli bombardments. You instinctivly sympathise with the civilains, as you should if you are human, but what if the image showed wounded soldiers in pain or covered in a white sheet? This would not have the desired effect because you would say well this is war and in wars soldiers are injured are killed. Goebels would have loved this, the perfect mainpulation of the masses using very simple but effective methods. It aint subtle but it works. So the next time you turn on your TV to watch the latest horrors ask yourself this question where have all the soldiers gone?
