Heres a tip for those who need to pack their bike, but cant find packing material such as bubble wrap. Get a package of disposable diapers. They come with their own adhesive (Velcro tabs), are readily available, and are cheaper than bubble wrap. I had to fly with my folding bike from Norway to Scotland. I usually fold the bike, wrap the pointy parts with bubble wrap, and pack it into a Cordura bag made for the bike. I was having trouble finding bubble wrap when it occurred to me that disposable diapers might provide the protection I was looking for. A pack of 23 newborn size diapers did the trick. I hardly used any tape, just the Velcro tabs on the diapers. I only used about half of the package, so a package of 23 would probably be enough for two bikes. The bike survived the flight, and the packing stayed in place. They made for a great solution, and cheaper too!
